READY TO FALL FOR FRANCE?

• In 2025, we’ll welcome A-ROSA ALEA to the River Seine. With more petite proportions, this means you will be able to get even closer to the action with the opportunity to dock right in the heart of Paris.
• A titan of medieval architecture, the spectacular Palais des Papes in Avignon’s history-wrapped ancient quarter is the biggest Gothic palace ever built. It makes a jaw-dropping backdrop as you smoothly sail into this beautiful city on the Rhône.
• The summer months from late June to early August are perfect for seeing (and smelling!) Provence’s iconic lavender-striped fields and blooming yellow sunflowers.

CAMARGUE

The rugged, wild Camargue is a paradise for nature lovers. Easily visited from Arles on the River Rhône, this unique wetland is home to a rich variety of birds and wildlife including flamingos and the area’s famed white horses. There’s a choice of ways to explore, including an excellent jeep safari and, for the even more adventurous, on horseback.

GIVERNY

The lily pond at Giverny is instantly recognisable – and it’s every bit as beautiful in real life as it is in Monet’s famous paintings. From our port in Vernon on the River Seine, opt for a cycle tour through the bucolic Normandy countryside, or a leisurely journey by coach, to Monet’s muse, his beautiful home for 43 years and its serene, lush gardens.

CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE

The name Châteauneuf-du-Pape is synonymous with one thing – and a visit to this quaint town on the Rhône is something of a pilgrimage for wine lovers. With a history stretching back to the Pope’s summer residence in the area in the 14th century, join us for a tour of the famous estates and, of course, the opportunity to taste the wines.
